The main topic of the June 29th meeting was Stephenson Park issues. The residents that resides around the perimeter of
the park are fed up and feel that the problems persist and are in fact increasing. They reported that there is not complete
resolve with:
-late night activity
-drinking involving teenagers
-sanitation
-lewd behavior and conversation around innocent bypassers
-vandalism
The residents are demanding better police/PACT reinforcements to control environment at night time.
Some suggestions that were proposed were:
-Association to request a meeting with Commanding Officer of Patrol Services, Robert Gazzola, so that resident's complaints
and suggestions can be addressed more efficiently.
In the meantime - continue to call Police Headquarters when sector car is needed. Remember, be assertive but not
rude. Get name, title and rank of personnel taking the complaint.
Next meeting will be announced as soon as date with Patrol Services can be scheduled.
